Brickell Avenue Walking Tour

3/1/24, 4:00 PM

About the Event

Named after the Brickells, one of Miami’s pioneer families, the once wilderness road has been transformed into a high-rise financial and residential district with amazing eateries, nightlife, shopping with preservation of historical buildings and greenspaces, too! Your guide will explore the past, present and future of this ever-evolving neighborhood which some call the most desirable place to reside in Miami. The Brickell Tour route will be from SE 14 Street to the Miami River along Brickell and Brickell Bay Drive. Highlighted will be: the Jade, Brickell Arch, Simpson Park, the Atlantis, DHT, the Colonial Bank Building, the Colonnade, Panorama Tower, Four Ambassadors, Rivergate Plaza, Icon Brickell, 500 Brickell and the Miami Circle. We will also discuss the Atlantis.

Tours run approximately every two hours on March 1, 2024. Meet at Dade Heritage Trust, 190 SE 12 Terrace for this two-hour walking adventure featuring architecture, the environment and history.
