PortMiami: The Vision Behind Cruise Terminal AA

About the Event

MSC Multi-Vessel Cruise Terminal AA: PortMiami is expanding its cruise capacity with the construction of a new, state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable, Cruise Terminal AA. The project is currently under construction and scheduled to be completed this Fall.

It consists of a parking garage, intermodal facility, and cruise terminal with shore power capability to service three (3) large cruise vessels simultaneously with a total capacity of up to 18,000 cruise passengers debarking and 18,000 cruise passengers embarking. The MSC Cruise Terminal tour will be led by Elizabeth Ogden from PortMiami and Jose Cordoves from MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company).

Be sure to meet us at the Port Admin Offices (1015 N America Way) parking lot at 3:30pm to board a shuttle bus.

New structures are certified to at least the "Silver Level" under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, and all building interior and exterior rehabilitation work includes "LEED" elements per the Port's newly established design guidelines.
