Discover the rich, inclusive 98-year history of Opa-locka at the new Opa-locka History Museum, where the city's unique Arabian Nights-inspired architecture and diverse heritage come to life. Join our guided walking tour of downtown Opa-locka to explore its iconic landmarks and untold stories that shaped this one-of-a-kind community.
All foot traffic will be directed to arrive at the historic Opa-locka train station located at the 490 Ali Baba Avenue address, and the location of the Opa-locka History Museum.
More than 40 can arrive to and experience the museum, but around that amount for a guided walking tour is ideal for a larger group.
About the Organization:
The Opa-locka Preservation Association is a volunteer led group dedicated to preserving the history - both the physical places, stories, and natural environment - of the city of Opa-locka, the eighth oldest municipality located in Miami-Dade County.
