About the Event:

The Kampong Open House event is an opportunity for participants to learn more about the garden's architecture, sustainability and Miami context. Meeting at the Shockman Education Center, guests will hear from Max Strang, Joanna Lombard and Brian Sidoti on the evolving relationships of architecture, landscape, climate and culture as they relate to The Kampong. 


Guests are encouraged to explore the gardens, walk down to the water, visit Fairchild’s study, etc.

Strang Design to sponsor/cover the cost of any tour participants who sign up.
