Meet renowned tour guide George Neary, and explore the special locations of Miami Beach’s center city. Learn about Miami Beach’s SISTER CITIES program at the signpost and city marker—From its inception in 1959 through today; tour will then visit the historic City Hall built in 1977; from City Hall walk across to the Miami Beach Convention Center by Fentress Architects of Denver, Co. Next walk to the New World Center, designed by world-famous Architect Frank Ghery in 2011; then on to the Miami Beach Community Church on Drexel Avenue by Architect Walter DeGarmo. See historic Lincoln Road along the way.
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Plan for the weather (hat, umbrella, etc.) Water bottle recommended. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
Meet at City Hall front steps 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach.
